This huge soft sand beach is one of the nicest on Schroon Lake.  There is a vast roped-off area for swimming that ranges from 6"-3' deep - it's all soft sand and perfect for children. 

It is a peaceful, wooded 5-minute walk to the beach from the Schroon Lake Retreat.  Or there is plenty of parking next to the marina, so you can pack the car with picnic and beach supplies and drive down. 

 

We provide you with beach chairs, beach towels, a volleyball, a beach tent, cooler, etc.  You will find these items at the house and can take them to the beach

  Please note that beach chairs, canoes, float toys, umbrellas, etc... on the beach belong to Association members and are not for general use.
